The park stretches around Mount Toubkal, whose snowy peak can be seen in winter from Marrakesh. Its proximity makes for easy access to these narrow valleys that offer a panorama as ancestral as original. People live there thanks to the barley and wheat, grown on terraces hung on the hillsides. A panorama not to be missed under any circumstances!
Punctuated by authentic villages surrounded by walnut trees, the Azaden Valley is one of those unspoilt and uncrowded areas that are pleasant to discover off the beaten track. It is in its heart, at 2300 m of altitude, that, in this case made up of a pretty forest of juniper trees, you will be able to discover the waterfalls of Ighouliden. Plunging more than 50 meters away, they are the highest in the massif. The hike is magical and is similar to a walk in a "giant garden": terraced crops, walnut trees, water mills ... Then cross the most beautiful village of the Azaden Valley, Tizi Oussem, architecture typical Berber, composed of rammed earth and stones with tints stretching from ochre to dark red. Then, in the middle of these granite landscapes, you will see the "Azibs" of Tamsoult, alpine sheepfolds animated four months a year during the summering of the herds.
